HUNTING
NPLB Outdoors began as an adaptive hunting organization and, while we’ve expanded to include a wide range of outdoor activities, we remain renowned for our exceptional hunting opportunities across the United States. Currently, we host over 20 hunting events annually, all provided at no cost to deserving veterans.
Our adaptive hunting program emphasizes sustainable wildlife conservation and prioritizes safety during every hunt. We are equipped to accommodate most types of injuries, offering specialized adaptive equipment to ensure all participants can fully enjoy the experience. We’ve proudly hosted veterans with a variety of challenges, including upper and lower limb amputations, spinal cord injuries, vision impairments, and other serious conditions. Each veteran is paired with a knowledgeable mentor to guide and support them throughout the event.
NPLB Outdoors collaborates with private landowners, federal and state agencies, industry professionals, and other organizations to continually create new opportunities for wounded, injured, and ill military veterans. Through these experiences, we provide not only adventure but also healing, camaraderie, and lasting memories for the veterans we serve.
Our hunting events include a wide variety of species and terrains, such as:
• Antelope
• Bear
• Deer (White-tail, Sika, and Mule)
• Dove
• Elk
• Turkey (Eastern, Merriam’s, Rio Grande, and Osceola)
